ROSSENDALE ART TRAIL 2016. Hi all. Just a quick announcement of the Rossendale Art Trail 2016. Once again studios, The Whittaker, Dave Pearson Trust , The Boo and other venues will open their doors to the public. All venues offer free admission. Opening times 11 a.m. -5 p.m. Prospect Studios will be raising money for Mcmillan Trust over the weekend , with visitors given the chance to buy a slice of cake and coffee to raise money. For more details contact Also the Boo will be open on the Saturday night from 7 with free music and bar ( music by various artists including Liam Spencer, Sarah Grundy and others ) For more information contact alan@alanbirch.co.uk At Prospect I will be showing my work, and a 5 boxes of prints ( with work from Liam , Alan and Jill will be raffled to add to McMillans coffers. ). A selection of 20 20 prints from various studios will be for sale at £10.
Over 250 visitors came through the doors of prospect studio in October . The studios were open as part of the Rossendale Art Trail, which saw over 16 venues opening their doors. The paintings of Liam Spencer, sculptures of Jill Randall and prints of Alan Birch were displayed and £250 was raised for McMillan nurses, with 12 cakes being baked and devoured. The weekend saw sales of work, creative discussions and music at the Boo!
