History

History offers up rich staring points for printmaking and a range of techniques can be employed. Printing often featured as a tool in many historical movements, helping to pass information through printed text and provoke discussion through image.

Several projects have used history as a starting point whether that be as a straight forward illustration, an imaginative depictor of the local history or as a powerful tool to tell the story of a holocaust survivor.
