The Lost Words.

During the summer break, visitors to the Manchester Museum produced a range of relief prints based on the book by xxx   . The book which illustrates words which have been omitted from the Children’s Dictionary , provided the starting point for creative activities. Families drew silhouettes of their chosen birds, plants and animals on wallpaper and their inked their positive and negative shapes. In some cases text was added to their “lost” shapes. For many this was their first time printing and some excellent prints were produced.
